It wasn’t just a dream—it’s real! My TED Talk is out today, and I couldn’t be more excited to share it with you.
In the talk, I discuss why social health is as important as physical and mental health—and how we can all strengthen our relationships starting today.
I invite you to watch it now, then pass it on to friends, family, and coworkers. Together, let’s spread the power of social health far and wide! (Quick and easy: feel free to repost my LinkedIn and Instagram announcements.)
What you won’t see in the video is the moment just before I began speaking. Stepping onto the stage, standing before ~1,000 people, I paused and invited everyone to take a deep breath with me.
That breath served two purposes. First, to steady my own nerves! I had dreamed of this moment for years, and before sharing a message I care about so deeply, I wanted to let go of any anxiety and speak from the heart.
Second, and more importantly, it was about us. That single breath, that shared moment, connected the entire room, grounding us in the present moment together. Because at its core, my talk—and life itself—is about connection.
